    It is indeed our fault for not posting on the forums. But we figured that this could get lost in other threads or few players actually come here on a regular basis.

    We'll see if we post about it on forums in the future but next time, it might be wise to check the Website (where we posted announcement news and updates), social media (also announced and answering questions) and finally Discord where all CMs and Mods give live updates.


    As of right now, you can login to Ironsight BUT the Portal maintenance is still ongoing so some login issues may still occur on Ironsight or any other Aeria game/services. In the meantime i apologize for the confusion and thank you for your patience.

    To answer your question Enenra we already received reports of the ranking modes not working properly. Proper matchmaking also needs to be worked on indeed. Unfortunately i don't have any guarantee at the moment as to if or when it will be applied.

    Just remember we're still in Open Beta and still have room for improvement until final release version.

    Login on EU and NA servers has been enabled BUT the Portal Maintenance is still ongoing.

    This is the reason why the launcher doesn't show properly. We don't recommend you access the game before the end of the Portal Maintenance.

    With that said, you can join our discord or check our social media where we will update the community as soon as the Portal Maintenance is over ;)

    The login is available on both servers BUT the Portal maintenance is still ongoing. We advise NOT to connect before the end of the maintenance as they could be taken down again for maintenance purposes.
    In short, wait for the official end of maintenance announcement to connect :D

    As we mentioned in the past, we are still working on setting up some sort of partnership with youtubers/streamers.

    Once we know more and have a definitive program, we'll make sure to inform the community :)

    The Skull Mask and the backpack are the only items that will be exclusives to founders. other items will be somehow available to other players. Backpack will be for all founders while Skull Mask will be for General Founders only.

    Mercenaries

    Welcome to the Open Beta! This new version of the game comes with its set of additional content compared to the Closed Beta version. Please note that some of these features were already available to players who participated in the Stress Test and the Technical Beta Test.

    On top of the new content, thanks to our previous beta testers and the community's continuous stream of feedback received, we tweaked some features of the game to get closer to the final release version.

    Please keep in mind that we are still in Open Beta and look forward to receiving even more feedback from our community to improve the overall Ironsight experience!

    4 new PVP maps

    Presented during the Technical Beta Test, you can now enjoy the 4 new PVP maps on top of the 4 original maps present in the Closed Beta!

    The Hugo International Airport was devastated by the Tsunami. A new microbe from the Jupiter Institute was lost here during the disaster while being transported to Germany. The microbe was later discovered to improve the production of Trinitium, so guess who got involved.

    A top EDEN engineer on route to a secret assignment was stranded on a construction site when the helicopter transporting him suffered a malfunction and crashed. The NAF sent its forces to seize the sensitive data he carried, while EDEN sent its own PMCs to protect him and the aforementioned data.

    An island somewhere off the northwest coast of Africa. OC Industries, long rumored to be connected to the Mafia, had a secret robotics laboratory here before the Tsunami. Both NAF and EDEN found it however, and quietly sent their PMCs to take control of it.

    The NAF's Black Sea Fleet is blockading EDEN's main Russian port. Intelligence sources confirmed illegal Trinitium transactions taking place there and as a response, the NAF sends its PMCs to seize the port.

    Resource Takeover: a new PVP mode

    Also showcased in Tech Beta test, you will be able to play a new PVP mode added to the CBT roster.

    Both sides compete for resources and score. You get resources by neutralizing Sentinels and the Metal Reaper. Be quicker than the opposing team and focus on getting the precious Trinitium!

    Hone your skills in PVE modes

    Fight oncoming onslaughts of robots and secure the objective in the EMP mission or rally up in a group of up to 4 friends against AI enemies in Team Deathmatch easy and normal modes to test your coo-op skills.

    Join the ranking matches and climb the leaderboard

    The Open Beta marks the launch of the Ranking System and with it, the first iteration of competitive matches on Ironsight!



    Here's how the ranking matches work:

    • Solo queuing (no party/clan queuing)
    • 5V5 matches
    • Search and Destroy mode only
    • Random map selection
    • 5 placement matches to determine rank


    We will soon post additional guides and manuals for the Competitive system to present the available ranks and points needed for each so keep an eye out!


    Additional Patch Notes and changes


    Here's a list of changes implemented in the Open Beta:


    System:

    • Switch from Xigncode Anti-cheat to EasyAntiCheat (please take the time to read our EAC FAQ)
    • Friend list maximum increased from 50 to 100
    • Clan members maximum increased from 20 to 50
    • Collection system: you can now compare the stats of the currently equipped weapon with other weapons
    • Collection system: you can now preview weapon stats without clicking on them (hover to preview)
    • Collection system: the owned weapons are now displayed on the top
    • End-game highlights will now give priority to player kills instead of drone kills
    • Overall map polishing
    • Server selection from the launcher
    • Keyboard shortcuts enabled on the launcher


    Bug Fixes:

    • Various Localization fixes in English, German and French
    • Fixed disconnection on Match results screen
    • Fixed the "Recharge" button in the shop
    • Fixed an issue where the Repair button did not disappear after item repair
    • Fixed a problem where sound was not played after jumping while moving
    • Fixed issue where only two daily contracts are paid
    • Fixed an issue where C4 installation background music is played in duplicate when playing victory ceremony
    • Fixed an issue where sound was displayed abnormally when accessing the load-out page
    • Fixed a problem that sound of human character was played when sentinel was shot



    We also count on your continuous support as you've already proved in past betas. If you spot an issue or a bug, you can report it on our Bug Report form.

    Would be a good addition, but I think the comp scene is actually 5v5. Which is why they made it 5.

    I believe this is the official reason, the party system is currently only featuring 5 members. I did mention it to the rest of the team to report it but i'm unsure it will be changed for that reason. I'll keep you all updated once i learn more about it.

    Well adding that feature would render the skill obsolete. But it would definitely free the skill slot then.

    Tough decision to make. Wonder how skillful you'd need to be to master this efficiently too :/

    I see the point here and i definitely agree that the team balancing still needs some work. Just keep in mind that if we find a way to have balanced teams from the starts while trying to keep friends/party/clan members together, this would then probably require more queuing for players overall.

    We'll mention it and see if a balanced solution can be found and applied in the future.

    I'm only saying how the current state of the game is. In no way was i trying to shut down your idea or stop the conversation.

    Sorry i made it sound that way it was not my intention.

    This could be an option i see for custom games in the future but i'm not quite sure it would make sense for regular matchmaking in my opinion.

    I see your point and it would make sense for the dynamic and stakes of Search and Destroy mode. But I still find it fun to be the last man standing and all your teammates desperatly shout instructions that make it even more tense :D

    There is a skill called "feather steps" that enable you to walk silently (except when running ofc) so i don't see the need for that mechanic.

    Fun fact: "feather steps" can be countered by the "long ears" skill :D

    Please try to post your answer in existing or relevant topic rather than creating a new one :)

    This will make it better for exchanging ideas for a given topic and easier for us to forward, comment or answer them later ;)


    "Increase Life Recover Again" thread: Increase Life Recover Again

    As mentioned by others, you should still get the attachments when levelling up your weapon regardless of clicking on the weapon progression tab at the end of the game.

    Please go to the weapon in question in your loadout menu and check all of the attchements to make sure you unlocked the proper ones depending on its current level.

    If your weapon reached a certain level but you still didn't get an attachement that's supposed to be given then, please send me a screenshot so i can investigate on this issue :)

    Thanks for the post! I'll try to answer as best as I can with what we have at the moment.


    1. We are aware of the extent and limitation of the Xigncode anticheat. As a matter of fact, the production team is exploring other anticheat solution but so far no definitive plan has been reached. If we do, we'll make sure to inform the community as we take the cheating issues VERY seriously.


    2. Setting up a proper competitive scene is also one of our main objectives. We also believe that a good shooter should have the proper competitive scene to ensure the community thrives in it. At the moment we still have no defined plan but i can assure you we are working on it. As soon as we can set tournaments we will start doing so. Please look forward to them when they arrive ;)


    3. We are doing our best to listen and adress as many of our community's feedback. Thank you for the kind words, we will keep listening to our community as far as possible. Just a reminder that as many feedback we can adress and forward, there is no guarantee that developers will implement on Ironsight. Nevertheless, feedback will always be welcomed ;)

    4. We agree that the we need to build up a sufficient playerbase to ensure a good future on Ironsight. We will do everything possible to advertise Ironsight to get the players needed for the community to thrive!


    5. At the moment there is no release date yet, but we will definitely adress all issues encountered before then to ensure the playing experience is optimal for the final release. Of course, we'd like to remind you that there is still room for improvements for as long as Ironsight is in Beta.

    As far as i know, there is no plan at the moment for items refills during a match. This feature would quite change the dynamic and balance of the game and it is up to the developers to decide wether or not this would be a feature that match their vision of the game. I suggest you create a forum thread (or find an existing one if there is) and discuss it with other players to see if that is a shared opinion.


    For the female skins, we already forwarded this frequently asked feedback and are waiting to see any potential future implementation. We do agree though that there currently is a lack of female options in the game. Please don't hesitate to reassure your wife and tell her that we will continue pushing this feature to be implemented in future updates until we feel there is a satisfactory amount of female representation in the game.


    As for the coop suggestion, we agree that cooperative modes are a great way to involve family and friends in a new gaming experience. Unfortunately i do not know if or when then will be more of these cooperative modes. We will make sure to point it out to the developers at Wiple Games and communicate any progress on this regard as soon as we hear plan from them :)


    Let me also remind you that Ironsight is still in early Beta stages and that there is still room for improvement until the commercial release and beyond of course.

    As mentioned by others already, The overall structure/model of female character can't be changed that easily as this poses a risk of affecting the hitboxe. This would provide an unfair advantage to players using the female skins.


    I can check for the idle animation but other than that i doubt there will be any drastic change to the model.

    In-game chat is one feedback we already forwarded to the devs. I cannot tel if it will be implemented in the future but as mentioned, if it is we want to avoid toxic and unwanted player behavior. If we can ensure mute or block options are properly instaured, this is definitely an interesting feature to have in-game.

    As mentioned by Kirito, please don't hesitate to use external softwares for your team communication in the meantime and feel free to join other players on our official Discord ;)

    That was a very interesting read and i first want to thank you for providing a very thorough review and feedback of the overall weapon stats system.

    We are aware of all of these aspects and I do agree that we still need to improve the overall communication of the weapon stats, attachement system, etc... I won't adress all of the points mentioned but i will say this:

    Please keep in mind that we have yet to look over all of the Ironsight features. We will create guides and detailed tutorials for each of the weapon and stats systems in the game in time. This WILL take a considerable amount of time so all i can ask is for your patience.


    As for the balancing, i do agree that some weapons do feel less powerfull compared to others. Balancing will definitely be one of our main concern in Ironsight but will unfortunately take even more time to adjust. As we repeatedly mentioned in other threads, we will forward consensus and feedback shared by the majority of our community. I cannot tell when or even if some of the balancing mentioned will be applied in our version of Ironsight but if that is the case, we'll make sure to update the community to the best of our ability.


    In short, please remain patient but don't hesitate to send us more feedback like these :)

    I promise we will work hard toward a more balanced gameplay experience and your feedback will definitely help us reach that sweet spot ;)

    I believe this feedback was already forwarded but more in a game design aspect. More than the "aesthetics" side of it, we already mentioned to the devs to rework the sound feedback for critical hits/headshots. We can't tell if or when it will be changed but we'll update the community if they do.
