    Is this a whole new thing made by the new developers or is this already existing in the Korean release?

    Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that we finally get a content update, I'm just curious.


    7. AMMO. When it comes to ammo I don't really understand why's there 2 different variants of ammo (ammo-piercing, soft-point). I can't seem to see the difference between when using one of those and when not using any ammo at all. I feel like I'm killing people at the same rate with or without it so idk. I don't really have too much to say about that but I thought I'd just mention it. I'd love to hear some thoughts about it from other people.

    All ammo does the same damage but armour piercing increases bullet penetration and hollow point increases aimpunch.

    This game is an arcade fast paced shooter way too far away from realism.

    I would suggest you trying to find some more realistic games if you are so concerned about the silencer stats.

    Ok so your solutions is, if someone suggest something about the game to simply send them to other game. Hmmmm. Now I bet if your fave weapon or aspect of the game got nerfed or changed you would jump and whine about it without mentioning that the game is not realistic. Btw way too far from realism is relative and overtly exaggerated as 0an argument. Next.

    I would gladly bet with you, but my favourite weapon isn't in the game and it won't ever be added because it would be redundant.

    Sure it's nice to went off some steam or change up things when I'm burnt out of other games with a few rounds of Ironsight but I haven't played the game too long to find a favourite aspect already, nor I plan to play this game too seriouisly to find one.

    By the way you are forgetting something. For silencers to be as effective as they are in this game (or in almost any other game pretty much) the weapons should fire subsonic ammo so there is no bullet crack which means that the bullet fired from the silenced weapon has slower velocity which impacts the accuracy as well because in real life slower bullet velocity means bigger bullet drop.

    I remember one of the devs mentioning getting in contact with Nvidia. What's the progress in this if I may know?

    Regarding optimizing the game, I think I stated numerous time that this is our main focus.

    How about contacting AMD as well? So people who are using AMD cards won't get shafted again, as usual...

    I'm only using 1 loadout: AR-57 (laser sight+precision barrel or silencer depending on my mood), M320 GLM, Explosive knife/Frag grenade, Shock grenade/Flash grenade, Firefly, Blade Drone, Escort Drone, Quick reload, Marathon, Assassin

    PS to the dev team w.t.f is this 5minute wait between posting answers on the forums. Your games already garbage why do your forums have to be as well ?

    this was an attempt to go against the forum spammer. It might get removed in the future, if a solution has been found.

    Just make it so that you have to play X number of games before you are able to post on the forums.

    You do realize that AK12 can use both AK-47 and AK-74 ammunition right? Not only that, it got improved so bullet trajecotry is flatter and its highly customizable. AK12 is just superior to in every possible aspect AK-47 though not as cheap.

    With this logic AK-47 and AK-74 is the same since they both work the same way and the only difference is the bullet they are using...

    It has been almost a month since the release of Open Beta. While I enjoy playing the game, it has some obvious issues.

    I think enough feedback was posted on the forums by the users in this month and the testing must have showed the problematic parts of the game.

    My question is: What are the plans of the developers about improving and developing the game considering the open beta testing and the feedback? Can we expect a patch in the upcoming weeks? Also is it possible for the devs to release a development roadmap in the near future even if the dates are not exact on the roadmap just to give us a heads up what to expect in the future of the game?

    AK-47 had 65 rate of fire and AK-12 had 70

    so basically both swap their rate of fire and make AK-12 just bit more attractive.

    AK-12 should have less ROF than AK-47, but more damage, range and better accuracy... (since it is a superior gun after all)

    The AK-47 got the higher caliber bullets so it should get more damage but the AK-12 should be more accurate.

    Can someone please tell me how to use the Desert Eagle effectively?

    I feel like it's an useless sidearm. The recoil is too high when I use max ROF, and the rate of fire and the damage feels too low if I wait for the recoil to settle some before firing again, since most of the time it needs 3-4 shots to kill someone with it and by then the enemy just melts me away with thier primary weapon.

    Is my game install broken?

    First of all I haven't changed anything in the game files.

    I wanted to play some rounds but I can't start the game. If I click on the Game Start button in the launcher it just greys out until I hover my cursor on it and nothing happens. I've tried to start the game itself with the ironsight.exe, the splashscreen opens but after that the game process closes and nothing happens.

    Alright. Playing some more, I've noticed 3 issues(?) with the game which could improve the game even more in my opinion

    1: Team balance in pubs: I've noticed that the team balance is really bad. 90% of the time one team is way better than the other resulting in one sided games which end in a few minutes without any chance for the other team to retaliate.


    2: Loadouts: Is it possible to create more loadout slots? 5-8 slots would be better in my opinion, 3 slots are very restricting.


    3: Grenades and ammo: Please allow us to buy them permanently.

    And a question to close my post off for now:

    Once the game is out of beta can we expect more content in the form of new maps, weapons, skills, drones and cosmetic stuff?


    Regarding your quick switching issue, I don't think I've fully understood what you've meant

    For example I have an AK-47 and a Desert Eagle + I'm running the skill which gives you extra ammo + two grenades.

    When I spawn in, the last weapon key switches between my AK and Deagle. If I press the quick throw - lethal/tactical key once, I throw a grenade away, but thanks to the skill I will have one more grenade remaining on my soldier.

    After throwing one grenade with the quick grenade throw key the last weapon key is now switching between my AK and the grenade.

    My question is that is it possible to make the last weapon key ignore if I'm using the quick throw - lethal/tactical key so it will still switch between my AK and Deagle unless I explicitly select the lethal/tactical gadget with my keyboard/mouse before throwing it?

    I've installed the game and started to play since it's avaiable in open beta. Most of the time I'm having fun, and enjoy playing Ironsight, but I can't say that the game is perfect. I would like to write down my main concerns with the game.

    1. Dropshotting: For the love of god, please remove dropshotting from the game. It's such a cheap tactic to use. Proning is okay, but at least make it so you can't fire while going down in prone and standing up.
    2. Netcode/servers: Many times I get killed way behind walls and corners, and killtrading is very frequent. In the past two days I've noticed terrible lagging mainly on SnD servers where the ping goes up to 1-2k and I can't control my character.
    3. Spawn protection: Make it so that if a player spawned and started to move or moved their mouse the spawn protection ends. I got killed a few times already when an enemy spawned and ran out of their spawn area killing me while they had spawn protection enabled so I had no chance to defend myself.
    4. Weapon quickswitching: If it's possible, please make it so that if I use the quick grenade or support gadget keys they don't override the secondary weapon in my quickswitch. I got killed so many times when I was using the skill that gives you double grenades, threw a grenade earlier then got into a firefight where I ran out of ammo in my primary weapon so I pressed quickswitch just to switch to my grenade instead of my secondary weapon.
    5. I admit I haven't played a game similar to Ironsight in years (last one was MW2 like 7-8 years ago) and I'm more of a hardcore tactical shooter type of player so this might be only a personal concern and maybe I just have to get used to it (although I can't remember having similar issues with MW2 back then) but sometimes the game feels a bit chaotic to me. I don't really know what causes this, maybe that the breaks between the engagements are almost nonexistant at times, maybe it's the time-to-kill, maybe the spawn system. For example: I'm fighting with someone, their teammate hops in and it's 2v1 already. I get killed either by a third enemy from behind/the flank or if I'm lucky I kill the two enemies before the third guy arrives and kills me while I have to reload.

    I'm having the same issue. Could it be related to the server maintenance, or was that finished already?
