    i can only use hk in a certain attachment and skill setup or things still get whacky considering the low stopping power in the game /and even lower in most other games ^^


    the whole idea from my perspective is that enemy does not get out of stunlock as he gets a big impact every half a second or something ....and then it does not really matter if you need 1 or 5 hits (except for the time needed and reloading of course, situation wise 4-5 would take to long for one to survive other enemies).


    semi-sniping as people may think of (as in, guy comes midrange around the corner and gets headshot with semisnipe) may not really work well. you could do in more realistic/tactical games though.

    Yeah, the DMRs in this game are pretty useless. A lot of it is probably due to the netcode.

    Thats really dumb tbh. Its kinda like saying to put a kindergartener in college. Its too hard for them. There should be a skill bracket in place to limit how much better players are in a match.


    Slightly better players against noobs are fine, thet have a chance to beat them and improve.

    Putting a veteran player against a noob isnt. They only take advantage of the free kills, and eventually the noob may actually give up and leave. This is not something Ironsight needs right now.

    Sure a headshot is a instant kill IRL. IRL the DMRs shoot the same caliber as the M40 sniper rifle. But the DMRs as is are unreliable and don't always kill with 1 headshot, I've seen enemies walk away with a sliver of health so they're long range is compromised. And at short range it's so slow to shoot, but what's worse is the hipfire accuracy. But we buff the damage and accuracy and leave it, people like Lincuxe are going to whine and cry.


    But then that would also leave the semi snipers in a weird place. So the solution here is to buff the to one body shot kills, but reduce the range, and let them keep some quickscoping ability. This would then be the quickscopers go-to sniper as it would suit that role.


    As for the bolts, they can lose the quickscope ability and keep their long range accuracy and damage that they're supposed to be used for.


    Another possibility to reinforce this would be to allow reflex sights on the close range semi snipers and to remove scopes stronger than the Viper Scope. This would make it harder to abuse them for long range sniping. Also have gun sway on the close range snipers at all times, but not on the long range sniper when staying still. Would make the cosmetic bipods seem to have an affect even though you can't remove them! :)


    Summarized:

    DMRs are a decent multi-purpose weapon but with a focus on longer range, but cant 1 shot.

    Semi snipers are focused on close range sniping and quickscoping.

    Bolt snipers are focused on accuracy and damage at range for long range sniping.

    ARs are preferred for mid range combat and assaults.

    SMGs are preferred for short range combat and rushing enemies.

    LMGs are preferred for suppresive fire and taking on groups.

    I can't give you 5 things.. There arent none. Its all broken promises and either A) Stupid delusional naive people or B) People who spend money on the game and is now only playing because of that, that keeps the game even remotely alive.

    I can agree with that... I played in April this year and when I took a break and came back nothing really changed. Only thing that stood out was the dark ui. I do like the new ui but really not much. Oh and that some items were missing and that semi snipers got nerfed again.

    using a no recoil gun vs a gun takes somewhat skill? nty bolt action is the best for 1shots since semis take 2 shots unless headshot.

    Currently the PSG-1 and SVD have recoil and can't be spammed to well. They'll be fine for close range sniping, quickscoping, hardscoping. They need a damage buff though. Also wouldn't hurt to reduce the magazine to 5 rounds.


    The bolts shouldn't be a short range quickscope weapon, they're more for long range sniping. We could definitely use more maps with long range sniping.


    DMRs overall need buffed as I said in the first post. Buff the damage so it gives consistent two body shot kills out to the range I specified, but remove the single headshot kills. If you want a close range sniper, use a semi sniper instead of the DMR.

    I don't think blaser needs to be nerfed anymore. Also removing quickscoping completely is just wrong since this is a fast paced game those who are good at quickscoping will be good and those who aren't will play ar57 or smth like that. snipers been already nerfed so no need for any more and also cf-x50 is 0 recoil rn with a thermal scope and a balance perk. try it out lol

    I'm Ximeña, I'm 22 and I'm a nurse. I don't have a PC so I play on a friend's PC, so I heard about Ironsight from a friend. I like FPS games, but I hate where gaming is going. You can buy a $60 game and it's still incomplete without the DLC, and it has lootboxes and maybe even P2W aspects (like unlock kits in EAs Battlefield). Ironsight is a lesser evil as you at least didn't have to pay $60.

    They are snipers, they're supposed to kill with one shot. As for the trade off of the faster fire rate and the ability to quickscope, for balance we reduce the range. It's fair enough, people can still use the other guns as well, since they would be buffed too. Also added an additional change to 60 rpm, for more balancing.


    As for the DMRs removing the headshot ability would balance it out with the buff of damage and hipfire. Bo it would take just two shot but it would be much more reliable and act kinda like a DMR should while being balanced. It's still a lot slower than any automatic rifles, so it wouldn't be op. It also has less than half the ammo. So skill and proper shot placement is a must. Could probably also reduce the firerate a little and it be fine too with the buffs.

    DMRs aren't snipers, if you want a auto sniper that's why the semi snipers. Example the SVD and PSG-1. I've seen people use the SVD silenced and it looks pretty good, I mean they took me out easy.😉

    A little bit less mobility to offset the buffs they would get wouldn't be too bad. This would help make sure that the SMGs keep their advantage.

    Shinoo, I think your in game profile is kinda bugged. It says you played 16 hours in game, but your playtime with the G3 is over 23 hours, which can't be possible if you only spent 16 hour in game itself.


    Note: I not accusing you of hacking your account, I had a similar incident where my SA58 weapon KDA (50.3) had a higher KDA than my actual best KDA (23.0). which fixed itself after like 3 weeks.

    My friends account is glitched. Missing 4 guns, but support couldn't find them. Some progress was wiped. They did find the Scar H, but it's still not in the inventory.

    As a nurse in the ER I've seen kids who ate Tide Pods knowing they're not good for your health because of a so-called challenge. Society is messed up.

    About this, it may not be best to have it optional. The game is free to play. Kids are always trying to get good games for free, and they will pick this game up. They can turn off the word filter by fiddling around or even purposively and have their childhood mentality badly affected.

    Its funny. 2018, people are sooooooo scared of everything. Kids can barely play in mud anymore. They all get an iphone, and expensive clothing.
    If bad words are going to ruin them mentally they deserve non the less. No bad word are going to ruin your mentally. Kids shouldn even be playing ironsight, and if any parent has a problem with it, maybe they should look after their kids. Take their iphones and make them go outside for once

    I've already thought it through. Bolts won't be obsolete as they we're designed for long range. Longer range than the semis. Therefore they'll still be used. That's also where buffing the secondaries come in. If a sniper somehow gets caught in a close range battle, they can use their buffed secondary. As of now secondaries are really valued much. People will instead prefer to just pick up an enemies weapon. Thanks for your reply though! As for silencers, they actually do decrease range and accuracy as shooters also use subsonic rounds that travel slower as to not break the sound barrier causing the big boom.

    Im with you on this one nurse. She will cry and go batsht crazy on any suggestion that doesnt fit her mind. Biggest cryer about sniper rifles, when they arent op at all. Theres more than one post where she immitially denied someones suggestion, as she had anything to say at all. Shes asskissing the lead dev, without knowing he dont give a sht about her.     Buff the bolt snipers to have SMG firerate so anyone can use them to quickscope new players. Increase hipfire accuracy to 100 percent. Increase damage to 200 so that when Lincuxe shoots you in the foot, you die. Also increase the ping so that you can get hit behind anything, even from across the map even if you was there 30 seconds ago.:D

    Muzzlebreak reduce vertical and horizontal recoil and add noise.

    Precision barrel increase range and accuracy.

    Modified rifling increase accuracy and mobility.

    Compensator removes flash, and increase damage.

    Silencers don't remove flash, but reduce sound significantly, range, and damage.


    Solution to fix dmrs.... Reduce recoil, buff damage/range so two body shots at any distance up to 80 range kills, but remove 1 headshot kills. Increase hipfire accuracy. Reduce mobility (these guns shoot bigger calibers and usually weigh more). 55, 60 damage. 80ish range. 50ish mobility. Reduce fire rate a little so it won't be too spammy (max fire rate of two clicks per second would be perfect, equating to 120 rounds per minute).

    SMGs increase damage on all except high capacity ones (namely P90, Bison, AR57). The guns should have the highest mobility 100 as they're smaller, exception being secondary pistols. Less movement hip fire accuracy penalty than other guns.


    LMGs reduce mobility, increase recoil control. Heavy guns are more stable. These guns should have the least mobility with exception being the CF-X50. Mobility 50ish.


    Buff shotguns to one shot kill at close range. 25 range is good. This will allow for quick easy countering of the short range snipers, but with a bit less range. Buff secondaries in general. Currently players would rather just pick up another enemies gun to use instead.


    Add nature maps.


    VIP mode where VIP is visible at all times and is using a metal reaper.


    CTF mode. Pretty self explanatory.


    More meelee weapon skins. Maybe add a kitana sword. +25% faster movement when welding a meelee weapon.


    Female character customization and 1 free female character.


    Jumping/moving while shooting should reduce accuracy!


    Add skill system based on KD and EXP. So kills but also following the objective matter. Use this for matchmaking. Put noobs with noobs. Pros with pros.

    (New players coming to the game can see it Pay To Win for a while at least until they can buy weapons and attachments. Because often they're placed against those pros who've already unlocked a better gun that fits their own gameplay style. Not everyone does good with the default AR, some players prefer to camp with a sniper, some prefer to use an SMG at close range. Possible fix would be to include 1 weapon of each group for free as permanent unbreakable weapons. Make them player choice. So basically like a free gun coupon for each the 5 gun types ARs, DMRs, SRs, LMGs, SMGs. Would pair well with more loadouts.)


    More loadouts. Also based on a take 10 system. Allow us to have secondary customization. Or sacrifice the secondary to have more primary attachments.


    Release on Steam without the launcher

    Connect to server based on best ping. Sometimes I ping South America better than North America, kinda weird but it makes sense to then connect to SA if it means better ping. This is better than a region lock as it may allow more players to play. Also you might make great friends in other countries than your own!


    Optinal word filter. This is a game for mature people, the filter should be optional. Enabled by default is fine but allow us to turn it off!


    Better rates on crates. People that buy crates aren't happy when they get only useless cosmetics... Neither are free players.


    Remove repair system.


    Allow permanent tactical and lethals. But release skinned versions.

    Black Squads smoke grenades for example has different smoke designs that make it unique and fun!


    Player economy. Allow players to sell back guns (reset level progress to prevent abuse). Also allow player to trade with other players. Warframe does allow this and it's working well for them. Limit to 1 trade per week with the ability to buy more trades for $1 per trade.


    Country Flag skins. An easy way to add more skins, as the ideas already there and all you need to do is put it on guns! More stuff to sell and trade to increase Aeria's revenue!


    Remove the ability to buy gold. That removes any possibility of P2W. Everything must be earned by playing. Also makes it more rewarding.


    Add more incentive to follow the objective! People seem to just go for kills. It's really annoying. Not every mode is TDM! C'mon guys!
