  • Hi guys,after 64 hours on this game and 14 years on fps games,i can say that this game can be really important as a f2p,if the dev will listen to the community and not let it die

    i really enjoy the game,i really like it,it give me always good feels about my years on fps

    ironsight have good stuff,good community,hopefully its still on beta and have not so bad contenents(so can get better for the full game launch)

    but dev needs to add more stuff with patch and maybe some nerfs for pointstreaks or weapons

    i've saw on the korean version that the game have new maps incomin,but it takes a lot to come in europe(why?)

    need new weapons,not 4 per patch but at least 2?? where's my ump ?where's my scavenger perk??? some times when im in killstreak,i go out of ammo,i know i should steal others,but what if i don't have the same feel,or sometimes if you steal it,the player start flame me for no reason!!!

    the character it self need some changes,cause there is no difference between both sides,it change a bit the color,but when i see them thought a window,ican't see if they are on my team or enemies(also i don't know why there is no female base character or why those you buy can't be customizated(???) also their price are a bit higher

    im seeing these days a lot of low ranks destroyin people with high KDA,smurfs?? mhhh bad stufff,rly bad

    why there isn't italian leanguage while the italian community its really active into the game???

    REALLY GIVE ME THE HIGH RESOLUTION TITLE AND MEDAL, SOMETIMES I CAN'T SEE WHAT IS THE IMAGE?!?!!??

    also the gold one skin cost too much after u go 1k kill on a weapon,ok i've farmed all weapons,but after that??? it startin to get boring a bit,5 matches are enought or less to play

    i've reached lvl 36 with k2c but it have a max lvl?? i will reach something if i go high lvl on it??

    there is an idea for the pve for a complete team?? like zombies or stuff like that???

    i really like this game,i don't want to see it die, it will be a really pain seeing this game collapsing cause the dev abbandon or throw it for "money"ok i know you need money to improve it,but give us stuff to make us use money on skin and stuff,also decrease prices, get a good skin means got at least 3 weapons with skins,bro im workin to improve my life,not to spend on games

  • We have to wait the testing servers to come out but your suggestions are really honest and most of them I was thinking about it too, after the testing servers launch I hope we get the same version Korea has to test and then launch in the main game, I'm thinking about doing a post about the balance changes I think is needed but right now I'm collecting data.

  • just something i felt the need to add: ranks arent necessarily a sign of skills. You can be the highest level of players if you cannot aim for s***, it wont make too much difference. This has nothing to do with smurfs.

  • I'd also like to add another few things that should be changed.


    First among them is the deployable lethal weapons such as claymores and springmines. They need to be re-coded to be less lazy. As they curently are coded the lethals are linked to the players health. So if you place a claymore or a spring mine the moment you die they also disappear. This makes them nearly impossible to rank up to Tier 5 UNLESS you play an extremely passive camping or sniping playstyle. Which I'm willing to be the vast majority of people DON'T play so passively.


    The Second thing I'd like to point out is the hitboxes are too tight. This could very well be just a lag related issue, or the netcode, which fortunately will be changed from TCP to UDP. HOWEVER from what I tested in the PTS the hitboxes are still kinda tight. Granted the PTS and the new netcode are both on an EU server so I can't officially test this hitbox theory of mine since I'm in the US.

    Main point that I'm getting at with the hitboxes is that the Hitbox for the head is either far too small or its just not registering hits properly. I'm assuming that the hitbox is actually not a rectangle like most games but actually an OVAL since that's what most newer FPS games are switching to, the only downside to that is lag and the current netcode make the oval hitbox far harder to register hits in the proper areas. And IF I am correct that it is the oval design I have slight concerns only based on the way movement functions in Ironsight currently.


    And on another note I personally think headshots should be more lethal. I ran a test last night with a friend in a custom match specifically to test this thought. Each weapon has their own headshot damage multiplier. The test I used was with a Scar-H, M4, K2C, and a pistol which I think was the storm. One bullet one perfect headshot basically had varying damage values on all the weapons. The scar for example did just under half the health bar with a single headshot. HOWEVER the Storm pistol did just over half the health bar. So just those alone show a drastic difference in damage value on a single headshot, basically what you can get from this is that a pistol is more lethal than an Assault Rifle. And preferably there should be a change that just makes headshots a single multiplier that simply deals double damage. From the sounds of the random edits to weapons with each pass through that the devs do this should simplify the work you have to do since all weapons will go back to having one headshot multiplier instead of a different multiplier per gun.


    There are a few more things I can think of on the spot but this is a long enough novel as is, think imma cut it here. Have fun slaying my peeps.

This would prevent spamming lethals all over the map for those players that die constantly and hope for easy kills. It would also make these types of lethals more useful.

  • I really don't want to see claymores all around the map, them getting removed when you die is fine. Them staying when you die would just result in them being even more lazy, with people just putting down claymores where ever they go and then running around the map.

    I also don't want headshots to be more lethal. TTK shouldn't vary that much depending on the head hitbox because Ironsight is a fast game with lots of kickback and headshots are often just lucky hits, not intentional.

    Note that other multipliers vary as well, it's not just the headshot multiplier. I don't think I'd mind if they were unified, although the difference in multipliers doesn't make a huge difference as it is anyways.

    I dont mean the s mines and claymores to be 100% permanent. As you hve pointed out this is a fast paced shooter. And like I have mentioned the FORD is the point in those 2 particular lethal weapons if your not playing the camper/non moving sniper route. If they are going to tie achievements to them they should at least stay long enough after your death to be useful. Someone is probably gonna jump down my throat here for saying this part BUT REALISTICALLY speaking something you place on the ground doesn't MAGICALLY disappear the moment you die. At the very least let it stick around for 2 deaths OR put it on a timer, if the devs must keep their lazy coding instead of making it a separate string.


    And your claim that the TTK shouldn't vary all that much depending on the head hitbox is totally bunk lol. I know of WAY too many people that specifically try to go for headshots BECAUSE they should deal more damage and kill the enemy faster just like in EVERY other note worthy FPS. And finally the value of the multipliers makes a huge difference lol. Take for example the AR57, if I recall correctly its headshot multiplier was changed twice. Both times it was lowered as well. All in all though if your playing a FPS game and you just assume headshots are purely lucky hits then, no offense, but I think your playing the wrong Genre of game.

    It would still result in you randomly dying to claymores all the time that someone put down three minutes ago and forgot about.

    I know for sure that I'd equip a claymore, put it down at the next best doorway when I spawn and rush around the map, gathering easy kills along the way, and I'm sure most people would do the same.

    And as a counter claim to this on the "randomly" dying... This would absolutely promote situational awareness in the game where there is literally NONE except to look at the minimap for red dots...


    Ideally though the Devs should have made a leveling system that would unlock the lethal weapons as well. As there is currently the profile level in game means LITERALLY NOTHING. Well I guess it means some people have no lives, (Level 300+) People that have work and then play to relieve stress EVERYDAY, (Level 100+) and then the people on the grind stone, (Level 1-100)


    If this were the case and lethals and other things depending on what can be done... Were locked behind level this would also limit people from using them all the time. But sadly the devs shot there own foot with this one since they made levels worthless.

  • oh and one last thing I'd like to amend one fact that you sqroot seem to assume I am wanting.


    I do NOT want an infinite number or limitless mines. Like Blood mentioned there is obviously a limit 1 without the perk 2 with. A friend of mine mentioned to me in discord after I made a comment about this post and was talking about... "How about the miens just stay there until you actually revive yourself. Cuz in TDM you click F to respawn and in the other gamemodes you either hit F or wait for the timer."


    Which he has a point this would make the mines a lot nicer to use and "actually" be useful to run and gun players. But honestly though I would still like either a 2 player life limit or a timer after death. For example, lets say a 10 second lifetime after death OR until another was placed. Honestly from a developers standpoint the timer is probably easier to manage if they take into account the gear pouch and placement times.



    BTW speaking of the Gear Pouch there is a VERY ANNOYING bug that needs to be addressed with it.

    So I've been mastering Throwing Knives and Axes of late. And I have noticed if you throw one axe of the two that you have, doesn't matter if you kill someone with them or not, and then you prime your second Axe to throw the moment you see another person. If you happen to walk over the first Axe you threw you obviously automatically pick it back up and you have your two Axes again HOWEVER the second Axe you have primed to throw is now stuck in your hands and will not throw until you switch back to your gun and back. You basically become a statue holding a throwing weapon. I can't tell you how many times I have died because I picked up my old Throwing Axe the instant before I try to throw the second one at some dude.

  • Exploding crossbow arrows would be nice. At least on the special mode to test it out. You have exploding throwing knives why not an arrow. Maybe limit it if they choose it to 1 or 2 instead of 5 arrows. I know it might be a lot of work to get them on the game but they should be fun and get ppl playing on those 2 special modes.

  • Reason I still join the test server after I complete my tasks. It does say ideas. Populated matches means more ppl playing. I'm aware they see the tweaks they need to do after they gather the info of the tests. Why would I complain about lag, net code, and all the other same things on the form?

    lazy coding is simply that, lazy coding. As for the string. I am now 100% confident you have ZERO experience with programing and any form of terminology no matter how lax the terminology is.


    The "kickback" as you call it isn't all that "extreme" in Ironsight as you seem to believe.


    I'll give you a point I guess I did leave the contexts for your "Lucky Hits" a bit too open and rather vague. But again still the kickback isn't all that bad.


    The situational awareness is quite PAINFULLY obvious. If you have eyes, remotely in your head the claymores are obnoxiously visible, furthermore the S-mines blink bright enough as is so if you cant see them... well... your either VERY old or too dam impatient. Which this crack about you being old brings me to the final comment.


    You either are very old and you had a very hard life if your simply calling me an insufferable brat just because I shared an opinion of a game that I would like changed gave my reasons and then tried to further backup my reasons after your first post. Then finally after you couldn't BARE the thought of someone posting a change you desperately fought back and I made a simple comment which is perfectly plausible and accurately used in the context in which it is given, in which you can simply ignore or defend yourself, but instead you go on the offensive and start the name calling... I'm sorry but I take back the first part about you being old. That was rather rude of me. I see now that your probably under 20 and still have room to grow as you so far embody your own label you tried sticking to me. Finally if it wasn't worth your time why did you even bother responding back if all you achieved is a keyboard warrior title?


    All in all, TO EACH THEIR OWN. You play IS the way you wish to, and I will play the way I wish to, the devs more than likely wont even change anything involving their core game since they are preping for the new netcode and soon "hopefully" the steam release. GLHF;)

  • Well most AR‘s have a hs multi of 1.4, but the distance is important aswell.

    And if you put a claymore at a **** spot or smine you can’t see them.

    But it should not fade into oblivion by death instant.

    I would like to see people going for hs in cod for example all the time...the pros don’t do that.

    CS, R6 or some.

    But I think the hitbox isn’t that good
