    Mercenaries,


    Today we are going to do something a little different. A good soldier is a trained, competent and prepared one! It's all well and good to know how to fight, but today we will stay at HQ and review the basics. I'm tired of having to answers the same questions over and over so listen carefully and take note of everything I am going to teach you today!


    This topic will serve as a part of a guide trilogy around Ironsight gameplay and functionalities. We will introduce here the actual available game modes.

  • I - Team Deathmatch

    1. Objective

    Be the first team to reach 50/75/100/150 points depending to match settings. You get 1 point per enemy killed.
    Note: The default objective on random matches is 100 points.

    1. Match settings

    Displays selected settings for the current match.

    2. Minimap

    Displays the map's close vicinity. Displays your allies for the whole duration of the game and your enemies when they are detected by a drone or when they fire.


    3. Match score

    Displays the match's score and the timer. When the match countdown reaches 0 the match is finished and the team with the highest kill score wins.


    4. Drones

    Displays available drones and points required to use/deploy them.


    5. Weapons

    Displays your lethal and tactical weapons if you still haven't use them, your weapon's current ammo count and your stamina.


    3. Available settings

    Note: The default settings on random matches are 12 players max, 100 points and a 600 seconds time limit.

  • II - Search and Destroy

    1. Objective

    • Defend: Protect the objective. If enemies are taking the point you will have to Defuse the bomb before the countdown ends. If you kill every enemies you win.

    • Attack: Plant the bomb on the objective. Protect the bomb until it explode. If you kill all enemies you win.

    Note: Planting/Defusing the bomb is taking 5 seconds without skills.

    1. Match settings

    Displays selected settings for the current match.


    2. Minimap

    Displays the map's close vicinity. Displays your allies for the whole duration of the game and your enemies when they are detected by a drone or when they fire.

    Note: You can see where the bomb is at all time on the minimap if you are in the attacking side. If the bomb is dropped, the defending side can see it on the minimap. You can see where are the two objectives to defend/attack.


    3. Match score

    Displays the match's score and timer. When the match countdown reaches 0 defenders wins. If the attack side manages to plant, a 40 seconds countdown will display in red. Once reaching 0, the bomb will explode and the attacking side will win.


    4. Drones

    Displays available drones and points required to use/deploy them.


    5. Weapons

    Displays your lethal and tactical weapons if you still haven't use them, your current weapon's ammo and your stamina.

    6. Bomb symbol

    Displays when the bomb is planted.

  • III - Resource Takeover

    1. Objective

    Each team fights against Sentinels and the Metal Reaper to get the required amount of resources.

    2. Minimap

    Displays the map's close vicinity. Displays your allies for the whole duration of the game and your enemies when they are detected by a drone or when they fire.

    Note: You can see where the current objective is as well.


    3. Match score

    Display the match's score and timer. When the match's countdown reaches 0 the team with the most resources wins.


    4. Drones

    Displays available drones and points required to use/deploy them.


    5. Weapons

    Displays your lethal and tactical weapons if you still haven't use them, your weapon ammo and your stamina.


    6. Health Bar

    Displays the Metal Reaper's health bar when it appears.


    3. Available settings

    Note: The default settings on random matches are 12 players max, 80 points and time limit 600 seconds.

  • IV - Secure Point

    1. Objective

    One point is created on the map. Occupy it with your teammates to capture it. The team that captures it first or has the most capture points by the end of the timer wins.

    1. Match settings

    3. Match score

    Displays the match's score and the match timer. When the match countdown reaches 0 the team with highest control points wins the round.


    4. Drones

    Displays available drones and points required to use/deploy them.


    5. Weapons

    Displays your lethal and tactical weapons if you still haven't use them, your weapon ammo and your stamina.


    6. Point control

    Shows the current progress of capture for the current point on the map.

    Note: The default settings on random matches are 12 players max, 3 wins and time limit 180 seconds.

  • V - Free For All (custom matches only)

    1. Objective

    Be the first player to reach 10/20/30/50 points depending to match settings. You get 1 point per enemy killed.

    2. Minimap

    Displays the map's close vicinity. Displays your allies for the whole duration of the game and your enemies when they are detected by a drone or when they fire.


    3. Match score

    Displays the match's score and the timer. When the match countdown reaches 0 the match is finished and the player with the highest kill score wins. The score on the left-side is your current score, the score on the right is the 1st player score. If you are the 1st player of the game the 2nd player's score will be displayed on the right-side.


    4. Drones

    Displays available drones and points required to use/deploy them.


    5. Weapons

    Displays your lethal and tactical weapons if you still haven't use them, your weapon's current ammo count and your stamina.

    Note: This mode is only available in custom matches.

  • VI - Front-Line

    1. Objective

    • EDEN: Defend the point from NAF. If the countdown ends before NAF team captures the point EDEN team wins.
    • NAF: Capture the point. If you capture the first point it will become your new respawn. Stand on a point to start capturing an objective. If the timer runs out and the point still has capture points, the game enters in overtime until the objective is either capture by NAF or the capture percentage as depleted back to zero and EDEN wins.

    Note: You can see where the current point is.


    3. Match information

    Features the two teams side and the match countdown. When the match countdown reaches 0 an extra time is given if NAF are still capturing the point until the progress percentage as depleted back to zero or the NAF team captures the point. 5 extra minutes are given to the countdown if the NAF team captures the first point. NAF always attacks, EDEN always defend. If the NAF team fail to capture a point EDEN team wins.



    4. Drones

    Displays available drones and points required to use/deploy them.


    5. Weapons

    Displays your lethal and tactical weapons if you still haven't use them, your weapon ammo and your stamina.


    6. Point control

    Shows the captured points and the current capture progress.


    3. Available settings

    • Maps: Downtown.
    • Max. players: 10/12/16/20.
    • Score: 1 win.
    • Time limit: 300 seconds (+300 seconds if NAF captures the 1st point).

    Note: The default settings on random matches are 20 players max, 1 win and time limit 300 seconds (+300 seconds if NAF captures the 1st point).
